WELCOMERS
If you are known for hearty handshakes and welcoming words, we need you to be the face and heart of our church.
VBF Welcomers bless our congregation with their dazzling smiles and uplifting words. Our Welcomers are the first faces seen by people arriving on our campus, so they truly are the face of Valley. If you enjoy meeting new people and thrive amidst the bustle of crowds, your beautiful face and outstretched hand are needed in our Welcome Ministry. For more information or to get on a team, please contact Gary at 203-7048.
NEW BELIEVERS
New Believers Ministry is one of the initial contacts that a recently saved person has with the church. The counselor makes contact, gives them a packet, briefly gets to know them, prays with them, and does a four week follow-up.
PATROL TEAMS
Beep! Beep! This golf cart's mission is way more important than navigating 18 holes.
The VBF Patrol Ministry is a team of eagle-eyed, levelheaded men and women dedicated to keeping our campus safe. Armed with walkie-talkies and golf carts, our patrollers comb the parking lots and other campus areas keeping a watchful eye on VBF families, buildings, and vehicles. So put your foot on the gas and point your car in the direction of 2300 E. Brundage Lane. We need your help in keeping our church safe. For more information about this ministry please contact Joe @ 706-5495.
USHERS
The VBF Usher Ministry is a team of men and women committed to using their gift of hospitality to serve God. Ushers offer more than a warm greeting and welcoming smile. They maintain order in the sanctuary by finding seats for people and keeping distractions during the service to a minimum. If you enjoy being around people and are ready to serve God, the Usher Ministry is a great place to get started. For more information about how to get started in this ministry please contact Rick @ 900-1073.
INFORMATION BOOTH
Are you characterized as helpful and friendly? Then you are qualified to serve in our information booth.
In the center of the VBF foyer beats the quiet but vital pulse of our church: The Information Booth. Volunteers that man our information booth keep inquiring churchgoers informed of the many activities here at VBF. The VBF information booth has all the latest news on current happenings-from concerts, to special events, to ministry opportunities. If you enjoy helping people and like keeping abreast of VBF goings-on, you're a perfect fit for this ministry.
PARKING
From impishly racing Hot Wheels to cautiously steering SUVs-you've come a long way, Baby. Now, we need your gracious smile and highly developed sense of order in our Parking Ministry. The VBF Parking Ministry has several ministry teams to direct traffic, set up, and tear down before and after all services. If you love to be around cars and can smile, wave, and point your finger, WE NEED YOU! For more information or to get on a team today contact Glen @ 978-6823.
